update source list แล้วลง wine ก่อนเลย
พอดีใช้ Gusty Gibbon รู้สึกเหมือนมี package นี้อยู่ใน source list แล้ว เลยไม่ต้องทำอะไร
เอาง่ายๆก็ลงผ่าน Synaptic นั่นแหล่ะ หรือไม่ก็

sudo apt-get install wine cabextract

จากนั้นก็เตรียมตัวลง ies4linux

wget http://www.tatanka.com.br/ies4linux/downloads/ies4linux-latest.tar.gz
tar zxvf ies4linux-latest.tar.gz
cd ies4linux-*

รันตัว install
./ies4linux
